Sancaktepe Şehit Prof.Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital started to serve in Emek District on 26 March 2017 under the name of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Supplementary Service Building with the participation of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
On February 1, 2018, our hospital left the building service and Sancaktepe Şehit Prof.Dr. It continues to serve as İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital.
Training and Research Hospital, which our people longed for, has been put into service. Our new hospital has the capacity and equipment to meet the expectations of the people of Sancaktepe. Built in an area of 53 thousand square meters, the 380-bed hospital offers professors, associate professors and specialist doctors. Our hospital, where the accumulation of medicine will be shared and developed, is able to meet the needs of not only Sancaktepe but also the surrounding areas. Sancaktepe Training and Research Hospital, which is foreseen that the value it will add to our district and its support in the field of health will be enormous, serves as a hospital at international standards where knowledge is produced and applied using advanced technology
