Doctor Work Schedule

  • The doctor work schedule is prepared in the MHRS unit.

  • Work schedules are published monthly.

  • You can follow your doctor’s schedule and make your appointment accordingly.


Visiting Hours

Sancaktepe Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital

  • Pediatrics Clinic: Information given only to parents 14:00–15:00. Items can be brought for patients 19:30–20:30. Rules are in the “Pediatrics Clinic Visiting Rules” brochure, posted at clinic entrance.

  • Pediatric Surgery: Only parents may visit 13:00–14:00.

Prof. Dr. Feriha Öz Emergency Hospital

  • General Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiovascular Services: Visitor hours 13:00–14:00 and 19:30–20:30, twice daily. Notices posted at ward entrance.

  • Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases:13:00–15:00 and 19:30–20:30, twice daily.

  • Chest Diseases:13:00–15:00.

  • Neurology:13:00–14:00 and 19:30–20:30, twice daily.

  • Palliative Care Units 1–3:13:00–14:00 and 19:30–20:30, twice daily.

  • Burn Unit: No visitors due to infection risk.

  • Other clinics at Sancaktepe Hospital and annex buildings: 13:00–15:00 and 19:30–20:30 daily.

  • No visitors are allowed in COVID-19 wards.


Visitor Rules

  • Maximum 2 visitors per patient at a time.

  • Visits should not exceed 15 minutes.

  • Infants and children under 12 years old should not be brought as visitors.

  • Visitors must not sit on patient beds or use patient items. Hand sanitization is required upon entering and leaving rooms.

  • Visiting restrictions may be applied if patient health is at risk; permission may be required from the doctor.

  • People with contagious illnesses (flu, cold, etc.) should not visit.

Children Visiting Rules

  • Pediatric Ward: Healthy siblings over 12 and father may visit; visitors must not have contagious illnesses or immunosuppression.

  • Pediatric Surgery: No visitors due to catheters or open wounds.

  • Neonatal ICU: Children over 5 may visit with parent, maximum two siblings at a time, for no more than 5 minutes, on scheduled days/times.

  • Patient visitor and companion rules are recorded in the Patient and Family Education Registration Form upon admission.

  • Rules are also posted in each patient room in the Inpatient / Patient / Relative Brochure.
