Dr. Yakup SÜLEYMANOĞLU

He was born in 1970 in Selim, Kars. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Selim, graduating from both middle school and high school as the top student of his class. In 1987, he started his medical education at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1994. After graduation, he voluntarily returned to Selim, Kars.

During his time as Head of the Selim District Health Group, with the support of the municipality and local community, he established an inpatient unit at the health center, had paved roads and a gazebo built, and formed a team that achieved 100% vaccination coverage for children in the district. For these achievements, he received a certificate of appreciation.

Between 1997 and 1999, he worked at Kars Maternity Hospital.
Between 1999 and 2001, he worked at Silivri Central Health Centers No. 1 and No. 2, Büyükçekmece Central Health Center, and Gürpınar Health Center.

In 2001, he completed hemodialysis training and received his certification at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. From 2001 to 2019, he worked there as the Responsible Physician of the Hemodialysis Unit.

In 2003, he completed his Master’s degree in Public Health at Marmara University.

He has received training and certifications in Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Tourism Medicine, First Aid Instructor Training, Ozone Therapy, and Mesotherapy. He also successfully completed the Leadership and Management Training, Health Law Training, Effective Communication Training, and CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) Training organized by the Ministry of Health.

In 2019, he was appointed as Deputy Chief Physician at Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital and currently continues his duty as the Deputy Chief Physician responsible for the Çekmeköy Additional Service Building.

He serves as the President of the Health Council of the Kars–Ardahan–Iğdır Development Foundation. He also previously served as a Board Member and Vice President of the Dialysis Physicians Association.

He is married, has two children, and speaks English.
