Companion Rules

    • Being a companion depends on the physician's request and is limited to only one (1) person.
      During the stay as a companion, the companion must keep his card with him.
      The companion should not leave the patient as much as possible. In cases that require separation, the nurse in charge should be informed.
      Servis Service nurses should be informed of accompanying changes and changes should be made within the visiting hours.
      Care should be taken to have a female companion in Child Clinics and Maternity Clinics in terms of patient privacy.
      Care must be taken that the companion is not under the age of 18 and over the age of 60.
      Accompanying people should be informed that they should not use tobacco products and alcoholic beverages in the hospital.
      Accompanying persons should wait outside the service as cleaning will be done between the hours determined by the Responsible Nurses.
      During the physician visits, accompanying persons are required to wait in the waiting room during the physician visit when they are asked to evacuate the rooms. If required during the visit, the companion can be called. Accompanying persons who are allowed to stay can stay in the patient's room.
      There is no companion in the Intensive Care Units.
      In order to provide a peaceful environment for the patients, the relatives of the patients; It is imperative that he does not speak loudly or make noise in the patient room and service corridor. Also, the televisions in the rooms should not be used in a way to disturb others.
      It should not be placed in the beds of patients.
             In terms of patient safety, patient rooms should not be locked while the patient or his companion is in the room. This rule is also applied in cases such as when the patient goes to surgery and examination.
      Accompanying persons are obliged to take care of the patients within the directives and to comply with the institutional discipline.
      Food and beverage should not be brought from outside the hospital 
      Accompanying rules are regulated by taking into consideration the relevant provisions of Inpatient Treatment Institutions Business Regulation.
